Default Silver Eagle for other Pofessions, Where?

Why does the Wars only get the Silver Eagle Armor!
It's like Professionism, It's Professionist!
Or their will be an Upcoming Set of these Armors^^.
Hey, Anet said 40 Armor Sets but their are missing 9 Armor Sets^^.
So is this the missing Armor Set?
Are they gonna Implement this soon^^?

Firstly, what are these missing sets of armor? Each profession, except the warrior has 4 armor sets; vanguard, asura, norn and dwarven. Even though the dwarven armor is not considered a set, it still has a piece for each body part = a set. If anything we have more than the promised amount of armor (not touching on the reskin topic) because of collector armor like gloves and masks etc.

Silver Eagle armor was made a little while back but was never implemented into the game. So instead of just wasting it, they put it in GW:EN. As far as anyone is aware, no new armor is coming.

Christ... read the wiki, or maybe the 3 other threads about this. Gaile said something to the effect of: "After completing the 40 'sets,' they found they already had a Silver Eagle set completed, and instead of denying the GW community a set of armor, they put it in."
Whether or not the other armors count as "sets" isn't certain (Dwarven isn't, at least), but I'd rather have Silver Eagle in the game rather than having it sit on some computer archives in the monkey hole of Anet HQ. It's not that good anyway, at least for girls.

Edit: Although, since Dwarven is not a set, they should give everyone another set, not necessarily a "Silver Eagle," though.

I understand what you're saying Chunter and you're probaby right, but it still feels a little unfair. And, although it's an armour that already existed, it still feels like its favouring the warriors out there.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were favoring warriors (even though the real reason was not to waste a perfectly good armor design). Heck, warriors are the most popular class, go to any town and watch the warriors argue :P Just look at the special statistics for the GWW. Warrior armor is the 7th most viewed page, no other specific profession armor has a slot in the top ten.

Nice research Jamison.
Warrior is the classic DnD brainless class. (no offense to any wars, but a lot just roll a war so they can hit stuff with sharp things) Its a good, safe class to start with so a lot of people stay with it. So, I guess if a large proportion of players play as a war, then its natural for Anet to favour them.

So, there are 41 armor "sets," and instead of saying that's nice, we were supposed to get 40, there are complaints that it's not good enough, you favor the warriors, blah blah blah. And people wonder why Gaile/Alex don't post as much.

QFT! And then you have SOME guys who don't quite get it and moan "where are the 40 new armor sets? I only see 4 for my wammo, Anet is teh sux!!"

People should appreciate that even though most of us have spent 1000+ hours in game, that the Anet team has spent 1000+ hours each CREATING the game so we can do this!!

No-one ever said that anet have screwed up with this, we all recognised that they've put tonnes of effort in. We never argued that the armour should be removed. Furthermore, seeing as the armour existed already and just hadnt been added, its not as if warriors (overall) have more armour.

All that is being said is that when we bought GWEN, in terms of armour, warriors gained more than other professions. full stop.

(Sry I havent seen the Gaile chat on this etc. and if this has been said already)

But Just a question:

Is this why the silver eagle armor is denied from displaying in the hom?

thx if you know the answer...

Just for advice, you should get out of that mentality and you shouldn't generalize the class as a whole. Not only that but it sounds like you extremely bitter from all of this, I dont see why you can't just be happy that warrior got an the armour set.

By the way, most of the warrior armours suck in GW:EN as does for the rest of the classes.

Dreamrunner, Im not saying that every warrior is a silly wammo. Just saying that, in my experience, warriors tend to come under the brainless category more than, say, a mesmer.

Not all warriors are idiots, not all idiots are warriors.

No, we got 31 armor sets.

Warrior is the only one that got 4... and actually warriors get 5 armor sets from GW:EN

And if you did count deldrimore as a set, rangers didn't even get a full set. they should have counted "Set" as the game mechanics does in the HoM...

Brainless? Or rather that you said people chose the warrior class and I quote "ot just roll a war so they can hit stuff with sharp things"

hmm... I actually said: "No offense to any wars, but a lot just roll a war so they can hit stuff with sharp things."

Would you argue that only a few roll a war so they can hit stuff with sharp things?

I never insinuated that ALL warriors are brainless, neither did I insinuate that MOST warriors are brainless. I said that a lot of the brainless players out there are warriors.

Anyway, sorry if there was a misunderstanding, I don't want to argue on an online forum, its pointless.
